“Excellent, More Than Helpful!” Stan Popovich does a great job explaining a complicated issue in terms that anyone can understand. As a woman who coaches other women through difficult times in their life, especially anxiety, I found this book to be practical and full of wisdom. I see it as a resource in going forward and highly recommend it.

“An Absolutely Brilliant Book!” This book is an excellent read covering counselling, psychology, and an element of spirituality. This book is concise, punchy, and exciting. I fully recommend anybody purchasing this book as it gives people an insight and awareness of the power of ‘ fear ‘ and conquering it.

“Learn How to Manage Fear with the Right Tools!” Here is what I like about Stanley Popovich’s book about fear: It’s to the point, gives practical suggestions, and has a sweet undertone. He gives examples of how people struggle with fear and what they can do. The book over all is very well written. As an addiction counselor for over 20 years, I’m always on the lookout for ways to help clients shift anxiety and addictive coping. For those looking for a Christian perspective his book is really helpful because he provides scriptural passages that address spiritual support.

“A Helpful Companion on Your Journey Out of Fear!” I am a counselor and I specialize in dealing with Post-traumatic stress disorder and fear-based anxiety. This book is a good place to start for those who are not convinced that they should go to a counselor yet. Mr. Popovich does a good job highlighting solid techniques to help those stuck in fear. The specific examples he gives are helpful. The reader may also become clearer on whether or not the counseling process is for them. Likewise, the handbook nature of this work could be a help to those already in the counseling process that need some quick reminders on the go.

“An Easy Read, And Good Information!” As a therapist working with clients dealing with anxiety, I found this book to be an easy read that would be helpful to my clients just beginning to manage their fears, worries, and anxieties. It gives simple and succinct examples of how to manage fear with real life examples. I do not have many books to recommend to my clients that want Christian based resources so I will definitely recommend this book to my clients in the future. I think it is important to keep in mind that this book is helpful in getting some basic skills that you can use at home but if you find that your life is being frozen due to anxiety this book would best be paired with therapy or other types of professional support.

“Gain A Better Understanding of Your Fear Issues!” The author does a good job of describing the different ways people deal with their issues of fear by using professional methods and religious means to deal with fear. The author talks about finding the source of the fear and then dealing with the ‘what ifs’. The reader is able to look at different scenarios and see how each one is broken down into parts which are manageable instead of dealing with the whole frightening situation. The author suggests such techniques as deep breathing to deal with anxiety. I think the average person will be able to navigate through this book and gain a better understanding of how to deal with their issues of fear.
